Slotjoint RTP checking facility
Canadian-founded online casino SlotJoint has announced a return-to-player (RTP) checking facility that allows players to assess whether the casino games on offer are paying out as advertised.
A statement from the enterprise names integrity and responsible gaming as areas of importance to players in choosing where to place their business, and says this motivated management to introduce the new service.
The service is linked to the players’ accounts, making it possible for the player to ensure that the RTP is as claimed by the games providers – SlotJoint offers games from Microgaming Quickfire, NYX Gaming, Betsoft, NetEnt and Global Gaming Labs
“We are publishing theoretical RTP disclosed by game suppliers and this can be compared to the actual RTP,” a casino spokesman said Thursday.
“SlotJoint calculates actual RTP as an accumulated total across all games that is reported daily, monthly and lifetime. Actual RTP is calculated as (total amount won by players) / (total amount wagered by players).”
The spokesman said that SlotJoint additionally offers standard self-exclusion facilities, and a service that enables players to automatically flush all payment requests – a function developed to promote responsible gaming by helping players to avoid reversing pay-out requests.
“We publish the theoretical pay-out percentages for each game at our site,” the spokesman explained. “These payout rates can be viewed from the game tab when the list mode is selected, and players can view their individual RTP in their Player Account. This allows players to double check that the games are paying as advertised.”
SlotJoint at a glance
SlotJoint is owned by Northern Entertainment N.V., whose correspondence address is: Landhuis Groot Kwartier, Groot Kwartierweg 12, Willemstad, Curacao. See our Government Issued Gambling License in the footer.
SlotJoint offers a comprehensive range of games including: blackjack, progressive jackpots, bonus slots, video slots, roulette, baccarat, mobile and live dealer games. All our games use random number generators. The random number generators are accredited by independent third parties such as the TST – Technical Systems Testing group.
Our games typically return to players (RTP) 95% to 99% of every dollar spent. At SlotJoint, we include your RTP in your player’s account so that you can review your own playing history to ensure you are winning as advertised.
SlotJoint is independently owned and operated. We have our own gambling license, contracts with suppliers, handle customer support in house, have our own fraud team and process all payments in house. At SlotJoint we do not outsource key operating processes. We believe this is necessary to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Know your limit
SlotJoint’s first priority is supporting responsible gaming. There is a potential risk that gambling can become a problem, which is why we have created player management tools so that players are able to set limits, view their gaming history, take breaks, and permanently close their account if they deem necessary. To set your responsible gaming tools please login into your account and navigate to the Responsible Gaming section which can be found from the drop down menu.
Problem gambling indicators
Gambling can become a problem for some people. The following signs may indicate a problem:
- Spending more money on gambling than you can afford,
- Inability to stop gambling,
- Having family and friends argue with you over your gambling habits,
- Not setting a budget and gambling until all your money is gone,
- Borrowing money or selling possessions to pay for gambling,
- Skipping school or neglecting family because of gambling,
- Feeling depresses because of gambling.
If you think you have a gambling problem, please seek help by contacting Gamblers Anonymous or the Responsible Gambling Council.
It is always a good idea to review your gambling history. This is the best way to track your bankroll and know how much you have won or lost. Usually, the biggest mistake gamblers make is losing track of their losses. To prevent that from happening, we encourage all players to print and review their gaming activity from their player’s account on a regular basis.
One key sign of problem gambling is chasing losses. This happens when a player falls behind and then attempts to recover their losses by betting more. Each person’s experiences are different, but usually chasing losses ends in further financial trouble. At SlotJoint, players have the option to limit their maximum deposits for a day, week or month. This serves to protect players from falling into the trap of chasing their losses.
For many players, the longer they play the more addicted they become. In order to promote smart gambling, we encourage players to play within their limits by taking breaks. All players have the ability to exclude themselves for 1, 2, 5, 8, 12 and 25 hour periods.
